Life@FAU offers an interdisciplinary structured training programme for scientific and medical doctoral students in the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Biology.
The aims of Life@FAU are to strengthen structured doctoral training at the FAU, to create uniform minimum standards in doctoral training in the life sciences and to provide existing and future structured training opportunities.

From Scientists to Innovators for Industry (SCI FI) is a three-month blended learning programme geared towards scientists in healthcare wanting to transition from academic research to the medtech / pharma industry.
The Innovation Cup takes place 10-16 June 2023 near Frankfurt, Germany. Find more information on the innovation cup teams and application process. Applications are open until 31 January 2023. You can apply for multiple teams.
Twice a year, the Hertie Foundation offers up to ten scholarships for students of human medicine within the framework of its medMS funding programme. The scholarship is offered to students, who are working on their doctoral thesis on multiple sclerosis.
The new course programme of the FAU Graduate Centre is online. The FAU Graduate Centre offers a range of interdisciplinary information events and core skills workshops which are open to all registered doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers.
